The Humvee or rather, HMMWV (short for High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled
Vehicle) was created in 3D Studio Max around 5 years ago in 2007. I never used
it for anything so I will be giving it away for free as a result. Do whatever
you want with it, use it wherever you want, I don’t want to know.
The model was created using a plastic injection moulded version as
reference, doing each part in 3D as I went along building the actual model. The
Plastic kit was an Academy Kit, I don’t recall what scale (BUT it was
microscopic on completion!)
Some of the well known elements are the 50 CAL as well as the smoke
dispensers on the cab. Also note the concertina wire rolls on the back as well
as on the hood. The decision to show the HMMWV on a diorama was due to the fact that it is easier to create visual impact if a small contained scene shows the main element off as the HERO or FOCUS area.

3d Model & Render of the Team Associated RC-10 Radio Controlled car chassis
The attached images were created in Autodesk's 3D Studio Max again -
using the Quicksilver Render Engine on it's standard "Tech" setting.
This model was EXTREMELY popular around the RC track around the mid to late 90's and was often seen sporting 6 or 7-cell ExTech packs for juice.
From a 3D perspective the model was fairly simple to create. Even though being a complex mecanical engineering work in itself, alost all work could be done in simple primatives or spline shapes. Those in the know will reconize the Novak shape speed-control on the rear pillar.

More Blender Work
This is a take away coffee station - It shows a mix of the following render passes:
1. Diffuse
2. Beauty
3. Lighting
4. Ambient occlusion
5. Z-pass
The Z-pass determines the mild focal depth and is used in conjunction with the Photoshop Lens Effect filter. The foregound has a simple half tone effect composited with a screen setting. The
station is typical to that commonly found in and around Cape Town SA at a number of refeuling
stations.

package where the following features coincide:
1. Being able to stand on its own
feet with regards to creating models & renders in a competitive
industry.
2. Being free, while not forsaking
point 1, as mentioned above.
