HMMWV: High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vechicle

The Humvee or rather, HMMWV (short for High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle) was created in 3D Studio Max around 5 years ago in 2007. I never used it for anything so I will be giving it away for free as a result. Do whatever you want with it, use it wherever you want, I don’t want to know.

The model was created using a plastic injection moulded version as reference, doing each part in 3D as I went along building the actual model. The Plastic kit was an Academy Kit, I don’t recall what scale (BUT it was microscopic on completion!)

Some of the well known elements are the 50 CAL as well as the smoke dispensers on the cab. Also note the concertina wire rolls on the back as well as on the hood. The decision to show the HMMWV on a diorama was due to the fact that it is easier to create visual impact if a small contained scene shows the main element off as the HERO or FOCUS area.
